If I flat out called this place a bad hole you might be tempted to not read on, but please do. The building has had a constant problem with cockroaches, and bedbugs over the last 5 years, which has only worsened under new management. The violence in the building has gone down, but you can still expect daily visits from police, paramedics and fire services. You can also enjoy the landlord lying to your face about how he will fix things and get right on it, lol. Tenants usually complain of garbage rooms overflowing into the hallway, random water shut offs without notification, complete lack of basic repairs, management never around to handle complaints or repairs, often there will only be 1 elevator working, laundry smells heavily of mold, no security cameras in hallways, not handicap accessible. This building would be condemned by the city if they ever did an inspection.
