I brought my new Stromer ST1 in February 2019 for a motor malfunction. I just got word that the replacement motor has arrived. It took 5 and half months for it to arrive from Stromer. Amego staff informed me that they will charge me a extra 50.00 dollars to replace the motor. On my original work order there was no charges listed. I opted out and took my bike home to get my regular mechanic to do the replacement. I put on my work order to also replace the battery door lock and Amego said its not a warranty part inspite the fact that Stromer has 3 year warranty on the frame. I said they should fix it and they wanted to charge me over 140.00 dollars. I went to Amego today ( Aug. 11 ) and took my bike and replacement motor. The clerk said I must pay for that work and when I checked the bike the lock was not replaced. Amego is not a reputable retailer and Stromer dropped the ball. stay away and find a more honest dealer.
